Q: Is the glucose monitor included in the course? 

No.  The monitor is not included but there is instructions inside on the best ones to order based on your lifestyle and budget. I recommend getting a monitor for at least 90 days and they range from $89-$119 per month, depending on your preference. There is also a coupon code inside for 30% off your entire order of Signos, which is our favorite monitor.  

Q: Will the program help lower my AIC and glucose?

A: Yes! This plan is focused on Whole Foods and pairing foods for blood sugar control which are all recommended for lowering AIC.

Q: How do I get a Continuous Glucose Monitor? 

A:  Our favorites in the course are Stelo and Signos.  You can order these online without a prescription.  There is an additional coupon code for an extra 30% off your Signos inside the course.  If you already have a FreeStyle Libre or Dexcom G7, you can use those monitors as well inside the course.

Q: How will a Continuous Glucose Monitor be able to tell me the root cause of my insulin resistance? 

A: Since the glucose monitor gives you real-time feedback on your gluocose you will be able to see where you glucose is spiking and staying elevated. This will help us to take a closer look at food, sleep, lifestyle, stress, etc to see what is causing your spikes.

Q: If numbers trigger me and I have a history of an eating disorder is this program a good fit for me?

A: No.  This plan is very numbers-driven and could be very triggering for people with a history of eating disorders. 

Q: How long will the course take?

I recommend spending 10-15 minutes per day watching the videos until they are complete.  Outside of the course, I would put aside 2 hours for meal prep per week and 15 mintues to 1 hour for grocery shopping unless you order online for pickup. The overall program is designed for 3 months.
